Style Notes! Today I'm all about browsing knitwear—tops specifically. Here's the low down: If I want to upgrade a simple (basic) outfit to a more chic look, I throw on the knit! Yes, Girlfriends...knitwear is an essential this season and every season, really.

New Deréon Ad Campaign: Fall 2010

Style Notes |  Deréon goes rocker-chic this fall. Interesting. So check this out: I love a bad girl, but I wish Beyonce went with a different hair color. Maybe jet black with highlights? Not feeling the blonde. Everything else—yes.

Spooky Yet Spectacular

Runway Notes! Funny-I posted a Tweet several minutes ago expressing that the makeup on the models in today's Rodarte show looked kind of spooky. I guess I was on-point, because the Mulleavys told The Huffington Post (Feb 2010) that their inspiration for the collection came from a small town on the Mexican-American border, in which they were struck by the area’s “haunted, hazy, melancholy vibe."  

I am always impressed with what the Mulleavys' brings us in terms of a fresh, out-of-the-box vision; the innovated collection tells a daunting yet intriguing story—indeed.
