Style No No! So there's ripped...then there's tore the f*ck up. Let's take a step back. Kim looks fab from the waist up; I adore a great blazer paired with a lightweight casual tank underneath. And while I am not gaga over what's trendy, I do own a few pairs of distressed jeans, but not as 'distressed' as Kim's. Holy Help! Girlfriend, the jeans are way too holey -- and the overall fit? Meh. Color Of The Moment: Emerald Green

Color Crushin' It dawned on me that I am totally crushing on a color that I would wear year-round not just seasonal, or because it is on-trend. The color  that I'm stalking is emerald green; it's such a powerful shade -- compliments my skin tone quite well and really brightens up my overall appearance. Trend Alert: Overalls For Women

Style Notes! Unless you've been living underneath a giant rock, I'm sure you heard that overalls made a huge comeback this spring. Yup, you read right, overalls -- "bib-and-brace" -- overalls. And while I'm not too sure if I'd rock the trend (more leaning towards a no) I'm really starting to find them exceptionally cutesy, thanks to the featured picture. 

Home-Girl wearing the overalls (above) is showing us that she's embracing the trend as she pairs it with a cool white mesh short sleeve shirt. But, I particularly like that the overall is distressed denim, which is certainly a spruce-up ingredient adding some fashionable flavor to mix. Moreover, peep her manicure! It's clean and simple yet stands out whilst complementing the entire outfit. And the camera? It's so statement.

Style Notes! I think spring is finally here to stay. And so, today I went to the mall to buy tons of V-Neck T-Shirts ("Tees") -- some solid colors (black, grey, green); some graphic.

Get a simple staple tee—and pull together an effortlessly cool and relaxed outfit. Some days I just want to kick it (shop, go to a game) in comfortable clothing: I typically pair my tees with preppy boat shoes, and with one of the many cute skirts in my closet! xx :-) ns

Mid-Week Obsession!Wedge Ankle Boot

Style Notes | New Arrival at Net-A-Porter: Leather Wedge Ankle Boots by Jil Sander ($1,395). I swear it ... if money were no object I would scoop 'em without hesitation. And, I would mix-and-match so many different looks with these bad boy booties—wearing with skinny jeans, leggings, or even a maxi. The detailing, specifically the cut-out wedged heel coupled with the brass definitely grabs my attention.

Style Notes | This past Saturday I went vintage shopping and ended up browsing the racks at a couple stores. I spotted a few cute things that were visually appealing—and even bought two item, which I will share with you later this week.

Anyways, while I did not buy the featured 50s vintage dress, it did speak to me ... as I can totally see the look on some of my stylish readers and Twitter pals. From the pleats, to the print, to the length, to belt—it's an interesting piece. Though I admit, I am not particularly thrilled about the dark green (too much of it!)
